How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Senior Indirect Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of indirect taxation within the retail industry, ensuring compliance and optimising processes. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to lead tax initiatives while supporting a growing organisation.

    Description

    Take overall ownership of the organisation's indirect tax strategy, identifying tax risks and opportunities across a complex international business.
    Design and implement robust indirect tax controls across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring processes are scalable to support continued global growth.
    Lead global indirect tax compliance, overseeing all sales tax reporting, managing relationships with international tax authorities, coordinating tax audits, and ensuring compliance with global platform reporting obligations.
    Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and timely execution of global indirect tax payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    Monitor changes in global tax legislation, assess the impact on the business, provide strategic guidance to senior leadership, and communicate legislative developments across the organisation.
    Partner with cross-functional teams to embed indirect tax considerations into commercial decision-making, operational processes, and business initiatives.
    Own indirect tax balance sheet reconciliations, driving accuracy, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering a high level of service and acting as a trusted tax business partner across the organisation.Profile

    A successful Senior Indirect Tax Manager should have:

    Professional qualifications in tax, accounting, or a related field.
    In-depth knowledge of indirect tax regulations, particularly cross border and international experience .
    Proven experience managing indirect tax compliance and reporting processes.
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance to stakeholders.
