How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Level 3 EYFS Key Person

    Job Title: Level 3 EYFS Key Person
    Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
    Daily Rate: £85.50 – £120 per day
    Contract: Full-time
    Start Date: September 2026

    We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Key Person to join a welcoming Nursery School in Watford. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education.

    The successful candidate will become a valued member of the Early Years team, taking responsibility as a Key Person and helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, develop and thrive. The school is looking for someone with a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and is happy to wait until later in September to secure the right person.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as a Key Person for a group of children, building strong and positive relationships with them and their families.
    Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
    Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through high-quality interactions.
    Observe, assess and record children's progress, maintaining accurate learning journeys and records.
    Promote children's independence, confidence and social development.
    Work closely with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child's individual needs and next steps.
    Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
    Uphold safeguarding procedures and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.

    What We're Looking For

    A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential). Please note that a general Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification alone does not meet the requirements for this role.
    Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
    A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
    A warm, caring and patient approach to supporting young children.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
    An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
