How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role
    As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality paint finishes while ensuring all work meets manufacturer and customer standards.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    ·Preparing vehicles and panels ready for paint application.
    ·Mixing and colour matching paint to achieve an excellent finish.
    ·Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat using modern spray equipment.
    ·Completing refinishing work to a consistently high standard.
    ·Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
    ·Maintaining equipment and keeping your work area clean and organised.
    ·Working closely with panel technicians and other bodyshop departments to maintain workflow.
    ·Following all health, safety and quality procedures.

    About You
    We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    ·Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Paint Refinisher within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
    ·Excellent preparation, colour matching and paint application skills.
    ·Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing first-class repairs.
    ·The ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards.
    ·A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
    ·A full UK driving licence is preferred.
