How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    PMO Reporting Analyst (Digital & IT PMO) | Contract | Hybrid (Bristol)

    Location: Bristol (1 day per week)
    Rate: £55.33/hr pay rate | Inside IR35
    Active SC required

    The opportunity

    Our client, a leading organisation within Defence & Security, is growing their Digital & IT PMO function and is looking for a PMO Reporting Analyst to support portfolio reporting, governance and insight across a busy change environment.

    This is a great role for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable reporting for senior stakeholders-while also improving reporting efficiency through automation.

    What you'll be doing

    Collecting, validating and managing performance data across the Digital Solutions portfolio
    Building and maintaining dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
    Producing standard and ad-hoc reporting packs for PMO leadership and stakeholders
    Automating reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
    Analysing performance trends and highlighting risks / opportunities
    Supporting governance activities (gates, reviews, assurance) with data and insight
    Contributing to continuous improvement of PMO reporting frameworks and tools
    Supporting PMO administration tasks as required

    What we're looking for (must-have)

    Experience in a PMO / project controls / reporting analyst / data analyst role in a complex environment
    Strong analytical capability with confidence handling larger datasets
    Strong Power BI (or similar visualisation tool) experience
    Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
    Understanding of project lifecycle, governance and PMO processes
    High attention to detail and strong data quality focus
    Able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

    Nice-to-have

    Tools: SAP, JIRA
    Methodologies: Agile and/or Waterfall
    Automation/analysis tooling: Power Automate, Python, SQL
