How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established, private equity–backed services organisation is looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a 9–12 month fixed-term contract.

    Reporting into the Finance Leadership Team, you will take ownership of high-quality management accounts and deliver meaningful commercial insight that supports both operational and strategic decisions. 

    What will the Interim Management Accountant role involve?

    Producing accurate, timely monthly management accounts with clear, insightful variance analysis
    • Bringing numbers to life through commercial reporting on revenue, margin, costs and working capital
    • Partnering closely with operational and commercial teams to challenge performance and influence decisions
    • Supporting budgeting and forecasting across a multi-site, project-led environment
    • Supporting year-end processes, including audit and statutory reporting
    • Delivering sharp financial modelling and scenario analysis for business cases

    What are we looking for?

    • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, modelling)
    • Confidence partnering with non-finance stakeholders and adding commercial value
     Experience in construction, property services or project-based/contract environments
    • Exposure to Power BI, Power Query or reporting transformation
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central or Finance & Operations)
