Yard Operative / Depot Operative - Redditch (Driving License required)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Yard Operative / Depot Operative to join a rapidly growing HVAC hire specialist. This role is based at our client's Redditch depot, supporting day-to-day operations within a busy equipment hire environment.

This is a hands-on position playing a key role in the smooth running of the depot, including stock control, equipment preparation and general yard/warehouse duties. You will be part of a supportive team within a fast-growing business operating across the commercial HVAC sector.

There is also genuine long-term progression available, with the opportunity to be upskilled into a field-based installation support role assisting with the nationwide deployment of portable air conditioning units and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse and yard support duties within the depot
Manual handling and movement of HVAC equipment
Accurate stock picking, packing and preparation of orders
Routine stock counts and inventory checks
Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and safety of the depot
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
Supporting engineers with equipment preparation and fixings
Opportunity to assist with UK-wide installations as you develop
Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Forklift qualification (or willingness to be trained)
Reliable, hands-on and physically capable of manual work
Strong attention to detail for stock accuracy
Willingness to learn new skills and progress within the business
Flexible to support occasional travel when required
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Location: Redditch (and surrounding 10-mile area)
