How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

My client is looking for a Junior Product Specialist to join their team. This position would suit someone who is looking for a career within product, has had some kind of administration role recently, and is now looking to find a career where they can learn and develop.

    About the Role

The Junior Product Specialist role is the next step in your Product Development journey.

You will begin moving from supporting product creation into actively creating products, taking ownership of smaller ranges, projects and development opportunities.

Working closely with Senior Product Specialists, you will develop your understanding of how successful product ranges are built, from identifying trends and opportunities through to costing, supplier development and launch.

You will start to build your own product expertise, learning how to balance creativity with commercial thinking and how every detail contributes to creating a successful range.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support and manage smaller product ranges and development projects.

    • Work alongside Senior Product Specialists on key brands.

    • Develop understanding of product specifications and technical requirements.

    • Support costing processes and supplier conversations.

    • Build knowledge of manufacturing processes and product components.

    • Research competitors, trends and market opportunities.

    • Bring new ideas and inspiration into product discussions.

    • Partner with Design teams to help bring concepts to life.

    • Support internal reviews and customer presentations.

    What They Are Looking For

    • Passion for products, packaging and innovation.

    • A naturally curious mindset with an interest in consumer trends.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Commercial curiosity and desire to understand why products succeed.

    • Ability to manage projects and priorities.

    • Someone who actively seeks feedback and wants to continuously improve.

    • A team player who wants to grow into a future Product Specialist.

Only relevant candidates will be contacted
