How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    With the opening of our new 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University HQ and ambitious growth plans ahead, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Trade Group Services (TGS) to lead the operational performance, service delivery, client experience, and strategic growth of all TGS divisions.

    This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of one of the UK's most exciting growth businesses while building the leading ecosystem of business services for trade business owners.

    The Role

    This is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall performance, delivery, operational excellence, profitability, and growth of Trade Group Services.

    As Head of TGS, you will oversee multiple business units, ensuring every client receives a consistent, professional, and results-driven experience. You will work closely with department heads, account managers, consultants, delivery teams, and the executive leadership team to create scalable systems, improve efficiencies, drive retention, and maximise client success.

    This is not a maintenance role.

    This is a build, optimise, lead, and scale opportunity for an ambitious leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service outcomes.

    Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

    Lead and manage all Trade Group Services divisions, including:

    Trade Recruit

    Trade Design

    Trade Social

    Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for TGS.

    Take ownership of operational performance, client success, service profitability, and team effectiveness across all divisions.

    Work closely with senior leadership to align service delivery with company goals and long-term growth objectives.

    Support new product launches, business expansion initiatives, and future acquisitions.

    Play a pivotal role in building the UK's leading ecosystem of business growth services for trade business owners.

    Contribute to business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational decision-making.Service Delivery & Operations

    Own and manage service delivery across all TGS divisions.

    Ensure services are delivered to a consistently high standard, meeting agreed timelines, KPIs, and client expectations.

    Develop and implement service delivery strategies that drive client retention and business growth.

    Create scalable processes, frameworks, and operating procedures across all service departments.

    Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Drive operational excellence through effective planning, resource management, and execution.

    Oversee project delivery, client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing account success.

    Establish service standards and accountability measures that support continued growth.

    Team Leadership

    Lead, develop, and inspire department heads, managers, and service delivery teams across multiple business units.

    Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

    Establish clear KPIs, objectives, and performance expectations.

    Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to support leadership growth within the business.

    Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent.

    Foster a positive, solution-focused, and results-driven environment.

    Client Experience & Retention

    Ensure a seamless and exceptional client journey from onboarding through to service completion.

    Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

    Manage and resolve complex client challenges and escalations.

    Monitor client satisfaction, retention, engagement, and success metrics.

    Introduce systems to gather client feedback and drive continuous improvement.

    Work proactively to maximise client results, loyalty, and long-term relationships.

    Systems & Process Improvement

    Drive digital transformation and operational efficiency through technology, automation, and innovation.

    Implement and optimise CRM systems, project management tools, reporting platforms, and workflow automation.

    Develop reporting dashboards that provide visibility across performance, utilisation, profitability, and client outcomes.

    Continuously review and refine systems and processes to support business scale.

    Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that increase productivity and service quality.

    Commercial Performance

    Take ownership of departmental performance, utilisation, and profitability.

    Monitor key performance metrics across all service divisions.

    Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase client value, and support revenue growth.

    Ensure resources are effectively allocated to maximise service delivery and business performance.

    Support client retention, upsell opportunities, and long-term business growth.

    What We're Looking

    Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as:

    Head of Operations

    Head of Service Delivery

    Operations Director

    Director of Client Services

    General Manager

    Head of Customer Success

    Similar operational leadership position

    Experience managing multiple service-based departments, business units, or functions.

    Demonstrated success in scaling operations and improving organisational performance.

    Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational targets.

    Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    Data-driven with the ability to analyse performance metrics and implement strategic improvements.

    Strong project management and organisational skills.

    Experience with CRM systems, project management platforms, reporting tools, and workflow automation.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and rapidly growing business environment.

    Desirable

    Experience within business consultancy, recruitment, marketing agencies, coaching, education, SaaS, technology, or construction sectors.

    Experience leading digital transformation or operational scaling projects.

    Background in customer success, professional services, or multi-service organisations.
