How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A well established regional law firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its conveyancing team in Richmond. This Residential Property Paralegal role offers exposure to a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, supporting fee earners from instruction through to completion. The Residential Property Paralegal will gain hands-on experience across sales, purchases, remortgages and post-completion work. This Residential Property Paralegal opportunity is suited to someone looking to build a long-term career within residential property law.

    The successful Residential Property Paralegal will join a respected regional law firm with an established residential property team and a strong local client base. The team provides structured support, ongoing development and exposure to a varied caseload within a collaborative working environment.

    The Role

    As the Residential Property Paralegal you will support solicitors and fee earners across a varied conveyancing caseload.

    The role will include:

    * Opening and managing client files
    * Preparing contract packs and legal documentation
    * Carrying out property searches and Land Registry applications
    * Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
    * Assisting with sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages
    * Supporting post-completion matters

    The Residential Property Paralegal?

    You will have previous residential property or conveyancing experience and a genuine interest in developing your career within property law.

    The Residential Property Paralegal must have:

    * Previous experience within a Residential Property or Conveyancing team
    * Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
    * Excellent organisational and communication skills
    * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
    * Proactive and professional approach
    * Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
