How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Product Owner

    Job description

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. Our digital signage business is looking to fill a new role of product owner, to drive forward our proprietary content management system (CMS) and be the accountable voice for the product.

The digital signage team delivers end-to-end solutions for clients, from concept to installation, and ongoing support. We are looking to grow our CMS into a scalable, market-leading platform and respond to client demand for richer, more connected digital experiences. The product owner will define the roadmap, translating business and client needs into actionable requirements, and working hand in hand with our development team.

This is a rare chance to take full ownership of a live, client-facing SaaS product within our creative agency environment. The successful candidate will inherit a working platform with a real user base and defined commercial purpose, with the mandate to shape its future. They will influence investment decisions, define the technology direction, and build the processes that will allow the CMS to scale from a strong agency product into a competitive and globally scalable platform.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely energised by owning a product, not just managing a task list. They should be equally comfortable in a planning session with developers and a commercial review with a client or senior internal stakeholders.

    Essential skills:

    • A passion for quality
    • Ability to adapt and change as needed
    • Great communication and listening skills
    • Ability to motivate colleagues and clients

Key responsibilities include owning and maintaining the CMS SaaS product roadmap, communicating a clear product vision and conducting regular competitor and market analysis while identifying opportunities to commercialise CMS capabilities.

The role also involves prioritising product backlog, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications, working closely with the development team and balancing new feature development against technical and other issues, while tracking KPIs. The product owner will act as the primary bridge between the business and the development team, gathering requirements from stakeholders and representing the client, while liaising with senior leadership.

They will be comfortable supporting the sales team in demonstrating platform capability and differentiating the CMS offering in competitive pitches, as well as working with account managers to understand how clients use the platform and identifying opportunities to improve it.

The role also requires the ability to:

    • Define and uphold product standards
    • Establish feedback loops with internal users and clients
    • Contribute to onboarding materials and internal knowledge sharing

Please get in touch if you have any questions about our diversity and inclusion policies, or about accessibility or any accommodations needed during your application process.

We work hard to provide an inspiring environment with opportunity to progress your career. Look at the Our values section on the Linney website to find out more about the Linney culture.
