How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    🎬 Lead Editor

    📍 London (Hybrid) | 💰 Up to £60,000 DOE

We're partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing creative production studio that's redefining how brands create content through the use of cutting-edge technology and world-class creative talent.

Working with globally recognised brands, broadcasters and entertainment clients, they're looking for a Lead Editor to join their London team and play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial, social and branded content at pace.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves crafting exceptional edits while also leading and developing a small team. You'll be comfortable switching between client deliverables, social-first content, pitch videos and internal creative projects, all while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Leading edits across commercial, branded and social content projects
    • Creating fast-turnaround content across multiple briefs
    • Using After Effects for motion graphics, compositing and finishing touches
    • Collaborating with creatives and producers to deliver projects on time
    • Managing and mentoring junior and freelance editors
    • Supporting pitches with concept videos, sizzle reels and animated presentations
    • Working alongside creative technologists and emerging AI workflows

    We're looking for someone with:

    • 4+ years' editing experience within an agency, production studio or commercial environment
    • Strong Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects skills
    • Experience producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
    • The confidence to manage priorities, lead others and work autonomously
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with AI creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Luma or Midjourney
    • Social-first editing experience across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube
    • Camera operating experience
    • Previous experience within a creative studio or production company

    What's on offer:

    • Salary up to £60,000 DOE
    • Hybrid working from a London office
    • The opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative team working on exciting global projects
    • A chance to help shape the future of content production in an innovative, technology-driven environment

If you're an experienced editor who enjoys working at pace without compromising on quality, we'd love to hear from you.
