How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your Role

    The Programme Director provides strategic leadership and governance across a portfolio of programmes, ensuring delivery of customer commitments, contractual obligations, and business objectives. Leading a team of Programme Management professionals, they drive performance, champion IPT leadership, and maintain accountability for programme execution, financial performance, and long-term business success.

    Responsibilities:

    * Provide strategic leadership and governance across a portfolio of programmes, ensuring delivery of customer commitments and business objectives.
    * Lead, develop and inspire Programme Management teams, driving high performance and strong cross-functional collaboration.
    * Build and maintain senior customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for key accounts.
    * Oversee programme performance across cost, schedule, quality and risk, ensuring targets are achieved and opportunities are maximised.
    * Support business growth through bid activities, commercial negotiations, and effective programme governance to drive revenue and profitability.

    What You'll Bring

    *Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field
    *Significant programme management experience in complex aerospace, defence, or regulated manufacturing environments
    *Proven motivational leadership with the ability to influence, build strong relationships, and lead high-performing teams
    *Demonstrable track record of delivering against demanding objectives and high-performance standards
    *Excellent communication, accountability, and leadership skills
    *Strong financial awareness and programme financial management capability
    *Passion for ownership, delivery, and exceeding customer expectations
