Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a secondary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is committed to raising attainment and making Maths engaging and accessible for all learners.

The Role:

Teach engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 available depending on experience)
Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that support mixed-ability learners
Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and improve outcomes
Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student development
Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced Maths department
Contribute to the wider school community through interventions, revision sessions, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Mathematics
Confident delivering the Maths curriculum up to GCSE level (A-Level desirable but not essential)
Passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and relevant for all learners
Committed to helping students achieve their full potential
A positive, proactive team player who contributes to department and school life
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive strong mentoring and support
