The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required.
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons where appropriate, or confidently deliver pre-prepared lessons.
* Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge across the primary age range.
* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes excellent learning behaviours.
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and those requiring additional challenge.
* Assess pupils' learning and provide clear feedback where required.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders to ensure continuity of learning.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has secure knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
* Delivers creative, engaging and well-paced lessons that motivate pupils.
* Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Is flexible, adaptable and able to work confidently across different year groups.
* Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Is committed to providing high standards of teaching and learning.
* Works well independently and as part of a team.
