About the role and school
We are seeking a PPA Cover Teacher to join a friendly and well-established primary school in Waltham Forest from September. This PPA Cover Teacher role offers the opportunity to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons while ensuring pupils remain engaged and continue to make excellent progress.
The successful PPA Cover Teacher will join a supportive staff team with strong behaviour systems and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will enjoy variety throughout the week while building positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school.
This PPA Cover Teacher opportunity is ideal for an adaptable and confident practitioner who enjoys teaching across different year groups and maintaining high standards of learning.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons as a PPA Cover Teacher
Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
Assess learning and provide feedback where required
Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders
Contribute positively to the wider school communityQualifications/Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous primary teaching experience
Confident teaching across multiple year groups
Strong classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
