How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Now Hiring: Warehouse Team Leader

    Job Title:  Team Leader

    Location: Huntingdon
    Hours: 14.00-23.00

    About the Role

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our established team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

    As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives.
    Allocate daily workloads and monitor team performance.
    Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
    Oversee goods received, stock movements, and inventory accuracy.
    Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
    Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
    Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
    Investigate and resolve operational issues efficiently.
    Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
    Assist with stock takes and continuous improvement initiatives.
    Complete relevant warehouse documentation and reports.
    Requirements

    Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
    Strong leadership and people management skills.
    Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
    A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
    Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems.
    The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    A commitment to health and safety and continuous improvement.
    A forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
