How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Driver

    Crewe | Temp to Perm Opportunity

    Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 07:00 – 17:00
    Pay Rate: £16.73 per hour

    We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) Drivers to join a well-established recycling company based in Crewe. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering regular hours and the chance to join a growing operation.

    The Role

    As a Class 2 RoRo Driver, you will be responsible for collecting recyclable materials from customer sites and transporting them back to the main processing facility in Crewe. Routes are well planned with a maximum of 10 drops per day, ensuring a manageable workload and a good work-life balance.

    Key Responsibilities of this Class 2 Driver:

    Carry out collections from recycling sites across the region.

    Safely operate Class 2 Roll On Roll Off vehicles.

    Complete vehicle checks and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

    Deliver excellent customer service at collection sites.

    Adhere to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety regulations.

    Ensure loads are transported safely and efficiently back to the main site in Crewe.

    Requirements for this Class 2 Driver role:

    Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.

    Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

    Previous Roll On Roll Off experience is desirable.

    A minimum of 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.

    No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.

    Good geographical knowledge and a professional approach.

    Reliable, safety-conscious and customer focused.

    07:00 – 17:00 shifts.

    Maximum of 10 drops per day.
