How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Extra Care Scheme Manager Liskeard, Cornwall (PL14 area)
    £32,966 per annum + 25 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits

    Lead a service where independence, community and exceptional care come first. We're looking for an experienced Extra Care Scheme Manager to oversee a well-established service in Liskeard, leading a dedicated team and ensuring residents receive outstanding person-centred support that enables them to live safely and independently in their own homes.

    This role would suit an experienced Extra Care Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager, Supported Living Manager or Deputy Manager looking to join a stable organisation with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

    What You'll Do
    Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing care team
    Oversee the day-to-day running of the Extra Care scheme
    Ensure safe, effective and person-centred care delivery
    Manage staffing levels, rotas and workforce planning
    Maintain excellent standards of CQC compliance and quality
    Build strong relationships with residents, families and local partners
    Manage budgets, performance targets and service objectivesWhat We're Looking For

    Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and social care legislation
