We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MET Technician to join our busy bodyshop located in West London. The successful candidate will play a vital role in repairing and restoring vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship. Duties
* Conducting mechanical repairs and assessments on vehicles, including diagnosing issues and implementing solutions
* Using hand tools and power tools to remove, repair, or replace vehicle components with precision
* Performing heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
* Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
* Assisting with vehicle preparation for delivery or further repairs as required
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during repair processes
* Ability to strip & refit without supervision
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role within an automotive bodyshop environment
* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair or MET work are desirable but not essential
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
