The successful SEN Art Teacher will use creative learning to promote communication, self-expression and emotional wellbeing, while helping pupils develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
SEN Art Teacher – What the School is Looking For
The ideal SEN Art Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Art at secondary level. Previous experience within a SEND school, specialist provision or inclusive mainstream setting would be highly advantageous, although mainstream teachers with a genuine passion for SEND are encouraged to apply. The school is looking for a patient, creative and adaptable practitioner who can build strong relationships and inspire pupils to achieve their potential.
