How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About Us

At Wonders of Maths, we are a tutoring company that makes learning accessible to everyone by teaching in a way that resonates with each individual. With a holistic approach to understanding every student's unique learning behaviours, we create bespoke curricula and resources, leveraging their natural strengths to help them develop a passion towards learning. We provide educational support throughout the year with the majority of our sessions being delivered in-person at our Hammersmith centre.

    The Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we need a highly organised and proactive Operations Associate to be the backbone of our daily operations in a new centre we’re opening in West London. This role is central to everything running smoothly and works across parent communications, scheduling and overall centre logistics.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating order and structure, and who wants to play a hands-on role in a fast-growing education business. You will work closely with the team, in particular with our COO, Tutor Manager and Centre Coordinators. This role will have real ownership over the day-to-day running of the centre, whilst being directly supported by, and reporting to, our COO.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage parent communication across all channels, acting as an expert in Wonders of Maths products and maintaining clear, professional relationships with families.
    • Oversee the tutoring schedule to ensure smooth delivery of all sessions.
    • Manage centre logistics including printing materials, staffing classes, and welcoming students and parents.
    • Keep our management platforms and physical office space organised and up to date.
    • Manage inventory and office supplies.
    • Work with the team to improve the efficiency of our physical and digital processes as we scale.

    Key Attributes

    You will likely have:

    • Strong organisational and administrative experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High attention to detail
    • A desire to anticipate future company needs and strategise towards longer-term goals
    • Confidence managing scheduling tools, communication platforms, and general office technology

You will thrive here if you:

    • Love creating structure and improving systems
    • Take ownership instinctively and think a few steps ahead
    • Are a natural communicator who is warm and professional with parents and colleagues alike
    • Are energised by a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and can see the bigger picture whilst staying on top of the detail

    Extras

    • Team lunches every Wednesday
    • Private healthcare plan
    • Pension cover
    • Free breakfast and coffee within our office
