We are seeking a Health & Safety Auditor to work on a large infrastructure project based in & around the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have previous auditing experience & happy to work in an auditing position, working across multiple sites, travel will be expected 3/4 days per week. Strong knowledge & experience in auditing and/or implementing ISO45001 would be a distinct advantage.
The Health & Safety Auditor will be responsible for;
- Ensure all H&S-related policies, procedures & regulations are adhered to and reviewed & updated regularly across multiple project sites.
- Site-focused, carrying out audits and inspections across the project
- Able to work autonomously and manage their own diary and workload.
- Promote Health & Safety initiatives
- Manage internal & external stakeholders, building strong working relationships
The Health & Safety Auditor will have;
- 3 year + experience working in health & safety
- NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Construction minimum
- Experience working in civil engineering or the construction industry
- Qualified Lead Auditor ISO Management Systems, ideally ISO45001.
- Able to gather, analyse & report on key H&S statistics and trends.
- Major projects experience would be beneficial, but not a must-have
- Position is project-focused, required to be on-site 4/5 days per week. Applicants must be able to travel across multiple sites & locations
