How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEND School
    Location: East London (Barking & Dagenham Area)
    Pay: £100–£125 per day
    Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 08:30 – 16:00
    Start Date: September 2026
    Trial Days: Available from next week

    Rising Hope Education is delighted to be recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding specialist SEND provision in East London from September 2026.

    The school supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs and associated learning differences. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic and highly personalised approach to education.

    We are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them to achieve their full potential.

    The Role

    * Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism and complex learning needs

    * Working closely with teachers, therapists and specialist practitioners

    * Supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation and independence skills

    * Delivering personalised interventions and adapting support to meet individual needs

    * Assisting with personal care where required

    * Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

    The Ideal Candidate

    * Previous experience working with children, young people or adults with additional needs

    * Experience supporting SEND, autism, SEMH, SLD or PMLD is highly desirable

    * A calm, patient and nurturing approach

    * Strong communication and teamwork skills

    * A genuine passion for inclusion and making a positive difference
