How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Your new company

    A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate billing and outstanding customer service.

    Your new role

    Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring invoices are accurately processed, payments are allocated correctly, and customer queries are resolved efficiently.
    Key responsibilities will include:

    Prepare and process daily and monthly customer invoices.
    Manage applications, invoicing and ensure billing is accurate.
    Check invoice documentation and approvals.
    Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments.
    Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
    Investigate and resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
    Work closely with Sales, Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issues.
    Produce regular Accounts Receivable reports.
    Support month-end processes, reconciliations and audits.
    Maintain and update query logs.
    Complete Accounts Receivable bank reconciliations.What you'll need to succeed

    Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Finance Administration role.
    Strong invoicing and payment allocation experience.
    Good attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
    Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
