How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships.
Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual support strategies.

Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), either in a school or similar setting.
A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
A flexible and proactive attitude with a willingness to adapt to individual pupil needs.
A commitment to supporting inclusion and helping every child achieve their potential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Vision for Education.
    Two suitable professional references.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare or SEND are desirable but not essential. Applications from candidates with transferable experience are welcomed.

As a valued member of our team, you will benefit from:

Competitive daily rates paid weekly through our PAYE payroll.
Flexible working to suit your lifestyle and availability.
Access to long-term, permanent and day-to-day supply opportunities.
Ongoing free Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including safeguarding, behaviour management and SEND-focused training.
Pension contributions (subject to qualifying criteria).
