Warehouse Material Handler

My client a large international manufacturing company has a vacancy for a Warehouse Material Handler working Day shift at their Perth location

Warehouse Material Handler-

· Monday to Friday = 8am - 16.30 = 40 hours per week

· 9 months with possibility for extension Temporary Assignment

· Pay Rate £13.20 per hour (£27456 per annum)

· Material Handling experience would be highly beneficial

· Experience working in warehouse

· Experience working in pallet trucks

· FLT licence beneficial

· Temporary to Permanent

Warehouse Material Handler

You are required to following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and capable of keeping up with a fast- paced collaborative environment. and Team is dynamic

What will a Warehouse Material Handler do

· Start checks prior to starting work to remove any hazards

· Use of SAP to check stock and completion of customer orders within the pick and pack operation *

· Take responsibility for your own Health and Safety and for the Health and Safety of others working in the area. *

· Picking and packing of UK and export orders with minimal supervision. *

· Understanding your results and expectations,

· be proactive in seeking the support you need to achieve your daily personal operational targets. *

· Picking and presentation of Raw Material and Packaging material for Production Departments *

· Support your manager and your team as requested to become a strong, autonomous and engaged team

Warehouse Material Handler Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel beneficial.

· Ability to understand and adapt to new schedules in environment due to priority changes

· Ability to collaborate and work with other team members in a team-based environment

· Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and react appropriately to changing priorities and impending deadlines
