How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype through to production.
Plan and deliver CAPEX projects for manufacturing test equipment and production capability.
Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and suppliers to support product industrialisation.
Monitor departmental KPIs including quality, yield, throughput and delivery.
Lead continuous improvement, risk management and cost reduction initiatives.
Support audits and ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and compliance standards.

    About You

You'll be an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in manufacturing, industrial engineering, test engineering or product industrialisation.

    You'll ideally have experience of:

Leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment.
New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
Manufacturing test, integration or production engineering.
Delivering CAPEX projects involving manufacturing equipment or facilities.
Working cross-functionally with R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.
Driving continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

    Requirements

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronic or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product industrialisation.
Excellent leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in high-technology manufacturing environments such as electronics, photonics, optical communications, aerospace, defence, telecommunications, medical devices or precision engineering would be advantageous
