How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Workshop Technician | Mansfield | Up To £30,000, Career Progression & Great Benefits

Ready to get your engineering career on the road with a company that’s going places?

At YES Group (Your Embroidery Services Ltd), we don’t just supply machinery—we power creativity and production for businesses across the UK. With nearly 30 years of success behind us and ambitious growth plans for 2026 and beyond, we’re looking for a hands-on, driven Workshop Technician to join our expanding team.

Why This Workshop Technician Role Stands Out:

This isn’t just another Workshop role. You’ll be:

Working with cutting-edge embroidery and digital print technology, initially working in our dedicated workshop for the preparation, repair, and servicing of our products.
Playing a key role in keeping businesses running smoothly
Building a career in a company that genuinely invests in your development
Whether you're experienced or looking to step up from a technical background, full product training is provided—we’ll help you become an expert.
    What You’ll Be Doing:

Checking and preparing new machinery pre delivery to the customer.
Repair and Servicing of returned equipment.
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs (planned and reactive)
Continuously learning new products and technologies
Managing service records, reports, and customer updates
Occasional site visits to assist with equipment installation.
    What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need to know everything—we’re more interested in your attitude and potential.

    You’ll likely have:

Experience in a technical or electro-mechanical role (print, embroidery, sewing, or similar industries are a bonus)
    A practical, problem-solving mindset
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic IT skills (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)
Good organisation and the ability to work independently
    What You’ll Get:

    £28,000 – £30,000 salary (depending on experience)
Clear progression opportunities as we grow
    Pension scheme
    Full training on specialist equipment
    Supportive, family-run business culture
    Ready to Apply?

If you’re an engineer who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and wants to be part of a growing, forward-thinking company—we want to hear from you.

Apply now and take the next step in your engineering career
