How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Responsibilities

    Production

    Ensure everything produced matches:

    The packing plans.

    Correct number of staff on the line to perform the job against the QC grade.

    Production runs at or above the minimum production targets.

    Ensuring that production, on line, is running smoothly, efficiently and adherence to production plan.

    Liaise with QA team, Senior Line Leader and Production Manager to be aware of potential raw material and finished goods quality issues.

    Set up job / batch for processing using the Prophet system.

    Record all raw / packing materials usage using Prophet scan system.

    Ensure and validate date code, country of origin, variety & any other information inputted by machine operatives.

    Ensure there are sufficient raw material stock levels for the lines to run.

    Ensure best utilisation of raw material is achieved during packing raw material & record / monitoring waste, giveaway, throughputs and investigating reasons for downtime.

    Ensure all production start-up inspection checks are completed.

    Ensure all production data relating to packing jobs are completed accurately and recorded in Prophet and any discrepancies are communicated to Production Managers.

    During a job, input data into prophet ensuring the correct information is captured – packing ingredient, labour time, raw material, packaging, labels etc.

    Close jobs on the Prophet traceability system for all products packed, keeping records of what product & packaging ingredients have been used in the job.

    Ensure that all production related paperwork is completed, and jobs have been signed off and closed.

    Coach, mentor, organise & take charge of a team of production operatives.

    Communicate line processing targets to machine operative.

    Follow the company’s label check procedure.

    Follow the company’s packaging procedure.

    To take care of equipment used, and ensure it is stored in the correct place according to procedure and to reduce downtime.

    Ensure all machine breakdowns are reported to the Site Engineers immediately.

    Report all issues or discrepancies to the Production Manager.

    Ensure machinery is left fit for purpose at the end of shift for other users. Ensuring that all lines and machines are set up ready to run for following shift when ending the current shift.

    To ensure Health and Safety standards are met daily.

    Commit to maintain a Health and Safety orientated environment for self and others.

    Carry out training requirements for production operatives using the companies SOI procedures.

    Ensure staff are wearing PPE and that it is always worn correctly.

    Any other duties deemed necessary to the needs of the business.

    Ensure that the clean as you go policy and walkaway standards are always adhered to.

    Ensure production is always in an audit (internal and external) ready condition.

    Coach, mentor, act as an advisory & support to all trainee line leaders.

    Administration / Print room

    Access prophet data base to print labels & job instruction.

    When required cover print room operative duties.
