How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    PSR Solutions are working with a reputable Civils and Rail contractor in Hull, who are looking to hire a Social Value Coordinator.

    Role Summary

    Coordinated and monitored social value activities across infrastructure and construction projects, supporting community engagement, sustainability initiatives and tender submissions. Worked with project teams and external stakeholders to deliver measurable social value outcomes and maintain compliance with client commitments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinated social value initiatives across multiple projects and business activities.

    Supported project teams in planning and delivering social value commitments.

    Built and maintained relationships with schools, colleges, charities, community organisations and local stakeholders.

    Organised volunteering events, educational programmes, careers activities and community engagement initiatives.

    Collected, verified and maintained evidence of social value delivery, including photographs, testimonials, case studies and performance data.

    Tracked social value performance against client requirements and contractual commitments.

    Maintained reporting systems, databases and evidence records.

    Produced social value reports, newsletters, impact summaries and case studies.

    Supported the preparation of PQQs, framework submissions and tender responses by providing social value content and supporting evidence.

    Assisted bid teams in developing social value proposals and delivery plans.

    Monitored changes in social value legislation, procurement requirements and industry best practice.

    Contributed to wider ESG, sustainability and responsible business initiatives.

    Skills and Experience

    Experience in social value, community engagement, CSR, ESG, sustainability, communications or bid support.

    Strong written communication skills for reports, case studies and tender content.

    Excellent attention to detail and evidence management.

    Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

    Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

    Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

    Knowledge of public sector procurement and social value requirements.
