A welcoming and supportive primary school in Basingstoke is looking to appoint a dedicated Graduate SEN TA to join its team as soon as possible. The Opportunity
As a Graduate SEN TA, you will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom. You will help deliver personalised learning activities, encourage positive engagement, and support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups.
Assist teachers in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
Encourage communication, confidence, and independence.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Help monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual support plans.About You
The ideal Graduate SEN TA will have:
A degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Childhood Studies, or a related subject.
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
