How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A leading UK law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its Real Estate team in London, based near St Paul's. This Paralegal role sits within a busy commercial property practice, with a strong focus on landlord and tenant work and wider real estate matters. The Paralegal will support solicitors across transactional property work, assisting with lease matters, documentation and ongoing client requirements.

The team works across a wide range of landlord and tenant matters and transactional real estate instructions, providing exposure to high quality property work within a collaborative environment.

    The Role

    As the Paralegal you will support the Real Estate team across a varied caseload of commercial property matters.

    The role will include:

    * Assisting with commercial landlord and tenant matters
    * Supporting lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
    * Preparing statutory documentation and property-related paperwork
    * Drafting and reviewing lease and property documents
    * Assisting with notices, licences, deeds and lease correspondence
    * Preparing completion packs and transaction documents
    * Carrying out title checks, searches and Companies House searches

    The Paralegal?

    You will have previous experience within commercial property or landlord and tenant work and a strong interest in developing your career in real estate law.

    The Paralegal must have:

    * Previous paralegal experience in commercial property, real estate or landlord and tenant work
    * Exposure to lease renewals or 1954 Act matters (desirable)
    * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
    * Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills
