How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: KS2 Teacher

    Location: Redditch
    Start Date: September
    Salary: £145 - £200 per day

    Do you have strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation?

    Are you confident taking full responsibility for a Year 6 class in a supportive but fast-paced environment?

    TeacherActive are proud to be working with a well-regarded OFSTED ‘Good’ rated middle school based in Redditch who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher (Year 6) to join them from September. The KS2 Teacher (Year 6) will be joining a supportive and inclusive setting that values high expectations, strong relationships, and a positive approach to learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate KS2 Teacher looking to make a real impact in a key stage transition year.

    This KS2 Teacher (Year 6) role is a full-time, short-term supply position running from September through to December. The successful KS2 Teacher will take full responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing across the Year 6 curriculum, supporting pupils through SATs preparation and ensuring strong progress across core subjects. You will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour and work closely with existing staff to ensure continuity of learning throughout the KS2 Teacher placement.

    The successful KS2 Teacher will have:
    • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
    • Strong experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6
    • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
    • Good understanding of SATs preparation and assessment frameworks
    • Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
    • A proactive, flexible and professional approach to teaching
