How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Driver

    Choose to work

    Days - Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 5:30pm or 6am to 6pm - (4 days a week)

    Or 4 days on 4 days off - 6am to 6pm

    £13.48 to £17.97 per hour - overtime available

    We are currently recruiting experienced Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Drivers, for a busy operation in the Dronfield area. These are long-term positions with genuine opportunities for permanent employment. You will also be required to have a valid driving licence as part of the role, will include driving on the road.

    Working as part of a fast-paced team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the site. Previous Counterbalance FLT experience and a valid licence are required, along with a valid driving licence.

    Working in a Foundry

    Based in North East Derbyshire, Dronfield area

    Duties of a Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Driver

    Loading and unloading vehicles
    Moving pallets and stillages around the factory
    Supplying work to the operators and moving work away when completed
    Working in and outdoors
    Making sure there is always a supply of work
    Basic paperworkExperience of a Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Driver

    Ideally worked in a foundry / factory environment / production role before
    Competent in driving a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck
    Valid licence required
    Used to working in a fast paced environment
    Must have a valid driving licence as part of the role will include driving on the roadDetail of a Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance Driver

    £13.48 to £17.97 per hour
    Choose to work 5:30am to 5:50pm or 6am to 6pm - (4 days a week) or 4 days on 4 days off
    Immediate starts
    Must have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and a Full driving licence
