How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About us:

    Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a difference in their development?

    If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

    LET Recruitment are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children (many with SEN and an EHCP). We have multiple posts available at schools throughout the Dorset area.

    Key Responsibilities

    – Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons

    – Provide one-on-one and group assistance to pupils

    – Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment

    – Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management

    – Support children with additional learning needs when required

    About You

    – Experience working with EYFS/primary-aged children

    – Experience/knowledge of differing needs and SEN

    – Patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable

    – Able to work effectively as part of a team

    – A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment

    Keeping Children Safe in Education

    LET Recruitment will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
