Location: Birmingham (Static Site)
Salary: £35,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
We are recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a static commercial site in Birmingham, carrying out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fabric Engineer or Multi-Trader looking for a permanent Monday to Friday role with a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building fabric repairs.
* Inspect, maintain and repair fire doors.
* Complete general fabric maintenance including carpentry, patch plastering, painting and decorating, flooring repairs and other building fabric tasks.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
* Support the wider maintenance team when required.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician, Carpenter, Joiner or Multi-Trader.
* Fire door experience is essential.
* A recognised trade qualification is required.
* Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management is desirable.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
