How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

ADHD Test Limited (trading as ADHD Simple) is an ADHD diagnosis and treatment telehealth provider delivering NHS and private services across England. As the organisation continues to grow, we are investing in our digital platform to improve the experience of patients, clinicians and operational teams while supporting safe, efficient and scalable healthcare delivery.

The Head of Product will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the organisation's technology platform. Working closely with the Senior Engineer and key stakeholders across clinical, operational and commercial teams, you will ensure our products support excellent patient care, operational efficiency and sustainable business growth.

This is a hands-on strategic role within a growing business. While the role does not currently include direct line management responsibilities, it is expected to evolve into leading and developing the Product function as the organisation expands.

    Main Duties

    • Own and lead the product vision, strategy and roadmap for ADHD Test Limited's digital healthcare platform.
    • Develop and maintain a long-term product strategy that aligns with the organisation's clinical, operational and commercial objectives.
    • Work closely with the Senior Engineer to translate product priorities into deliverable technical solutions and ensure successful product delivery.
    • Collaborate with clinicians, operational teams, commercial stakeholders and external suppliers to design, develop and continuously improve the platform.
    • Own the end-to-end product discovery process, gathering and prioritising patient, clinician, operational and business requirements.
    • Lead product development initiatives from concept through design, development, launch and continuous improvement.
    • Use quantitative and qualitative data, customer feedback and operational metrics to identify opportunities for product improvement and measure product success.
    • Make evidence-based prioritisation decisions, balancing patient needs, clinical safety, operational efficiency, technical complexity and commercial objectives.
    • Own and maintain the product backlog, user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria and release planning.
    • Work with software development partners and third-party technology suppliers to ensure successful delivery of product enhancements and integrations.
    • Evaluate and introduce AI-enabled functionality that improves patient experience, clinician productivity and operational efficiency while supporting safe, ethical and compliant use.
    • Ensure products and systems support NHS, regulatory and healthcare requirements, including clinical safety, information governance, Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC) and relevant NHS integration standards.
    • Ensure product changes follow appropriate governance processes and are supported by suitable documentation, testing and stakeholder approval.
    • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across engineering, clinical, operations and external technology partners.
    • Monitor product performance through agreed key performance indicators, making recommendations for continual improvement.
    • Support the organisation's digital innovation strategy by identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes, staff productivity and business performance through technology.

    Skills, Experience and Qualifications

    Essential

    • Significant experience in product management within a technology, SaaS or digital services environment.
    • Experience developing and delivering product strategy, roadmaps and product vision.
    • Experience working closely with software engineering teams using Agile delivery methodologies.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Experience managing competing priorities and making evidence-based product decisions.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into product improvements.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience producing user stories, product specifications, acceptance criteria and release plans.
    • Experience working with product management and collaboration tools (such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, Trello or similar).
    • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, growing organisation.

    Desirable

    • Experience within digital health, healthcare technology or other regulated industries.
    • Experience working with NHS systems, integrations or healthcare interoperability standards.
    • Experience introducing AI-enabled products or digital automation.
    • Knowledge of clinical safety, information governance and healthcare regulatory requirements.
    • Experience working with third-party software suppliers and technology partners.
    • Previous experience in a scale-up or high-growth technology business.

    Personal Attributes

    • Passionate about creating products that improve patient outcomes and user experience.
    • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on product delivery.
    • Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across technical, clinical and operational teams.
    • Commercially aware, with an understanding of how product decisions support organisational growth and sustainability.
    • Curious, innovative and committed to continuous improvement.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
    • Committed to maintaining confidentiality, information security and high standards of professional conduct.

    Career Development

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of ADHD Simple's digital platform. As the organisation grows, it is anticipated that the Head of Product will have the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated Product function, including recruiting, developing and managing product professionals as required.
