How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 6 Teacher - Primary School

    Location: B12, Birmingham
    Role: Year 6 Teacher
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-Time

    Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the B12 area from September.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher who is passionate about preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school. The successful Year 6 Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils in achieving their full potential, and create a positive learning environment where children feel confident, motivated, and ready for the challenges ahead.

    The school offers a supportive leadership team, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent opportunity for a Year 6 Teacher looking for their next role.

    The successful Year 6 Teacher will:
    * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    * Have recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher or teaching within Upper Key Stage 2
    * Be confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs
    * Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
    * Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
    * Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
    * Be organised, motivated, and committed to achieving excellent outcomes
