How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    At Pasquill, we're looking for a Stock Controller to join our Operations team, helping to ensure our stock is accurate, our processes run smoothly, and our customers receive the products they need, when they need them. You will play an important role in keeping our site running efficiently by maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the wider production and planning teams.     Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of engineered roof trusses, floor joists and timber engineering solutions. We work with housebuilders, developers and merchants across the country, delivering high-quality products that help build better homes.

    This role is site-based in Redhill, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

    What we're looking for:

    Previous experience in a stock control, inventory or warehouse administration role.
    Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience working with stock management systems being advantageous.
    A proactive team player with strong communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively across departments.
    Someone who takes ownership, enjoys improving processes, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.What you will be doing:

    Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring inventory levels align with business and customer demand.
    Supporting stock counts and investigating any stock discrepancies to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
    Processing purchase invoices and completing stock administration activities accurately and on time.
    Working closely with production, planning and operational teams to communicate stock information and resolve inventory issues.
