How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Owning and continuously improving the accuracy, integrity and governance of colleague data and People systems

    * Producing regular reporting and dashboards on key metrics including headcount, attrition, absence, payroll and reward

    * Analysing trends and translating data into clear, actionable insights to support business decision-making

    * Acting as the primary contact for HRIS and People system providers, ensuring effective performance and optimisation

    * Supporting reward, pay and benefits activity including salary reviews, benchmarking and benefits administration

    * Supporting with the delivery of cyclical People processes such as annual pay review, bonus administration and statutory reporting (e.g. gender pay gap)

    * Providing guidance to managers and stakeholders on People data, systems and operational processes

    We’re looking for someone who

    * Has strong experience working with HR/People data, reporting and systems

    * Demonstrates advanced Excel skills and confidence handling complex datasets

    * Can translate data into clear insights and meaningful business recommendations

    * Has excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance

    * Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and cyclical deadlines

    * Communicates confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the business

    * Takes ownership, shows initiative and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement

    * Has a practical, solutions-focused approach to enhancing systems and processes

    * Handles sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement

    * Ideally has experience or exposure to payroll, reward, benefits or statutory reporting
