We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refurb Plant Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities
As a Refurb Plant Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Performing maintenance on a variety of machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
Stripping down machinery and rebuilding them to optimal working condition.
Diagnosing and resolving faults in a timely and effective manner.
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborating with the team to ensure workshop operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognized qualification in plant or vehicle maintenance.
Proven experience in machine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment refurbishment.
Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-DayYour typical day will involve:
Working in a workshop-based environment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Performing hands-on maintenance, stripping, and rebuilding of machinery.
Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure equipment is operational.
Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
Optional weekend work for those seeking additional hours and overtime opportunities.
