How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Chief of Staff - PMO Lead

    London | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | 12-Month FTC | £90,000 - £100,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a well-backed start-up operating at the intersection of AI, technology and content.

It's an exciting business with big ambitions. It's also very early in its journey.

That means not everything is built yet. Processes are evolving, priorities can change and there is plenty of opportunity to shape how things are done.

We're looking for a Chief of Staff / PMO Manager to help bring structure to that growth.

We want someone who can tick the following boxes:

    • PMO / Project Management Experience.
    • Can start ASAP and commit to a contract.
    • Complicated and Fast Paced Start / Scale Up Experience.

You'll sit at the heart of the business, working closely with leadership, the Board and investors to keep projects moving, priorities aligned and the business organised.

    The role

    • You'll own programme plans, timelines and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
    • You'll coordinate projects, manage governance, prepare board packs and make sure actions actually get done.
    • You'll spot risks before they become problems, improve processes as the business grows and help leadership stay focused on what matters most.
    • This isn't about bureaucracy.
    • It's about creating enough structure to allow the business to move even faster.

    About you

    • You'll probably come from a PMO, Programme Management or Chief of Staff background.
    • You'll be organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
    • You'll enjoy working with senior stakeholders and won't be fazed when plans change.
    • Most importantly, you'll enjoy building things.

    Why join?

    • The office is ridiculous. Genuinely one of the coolest working environments in London.
    • You'll be joining a smart, ambitious team building something exciting in AI and technology.
    • It's a 12-month fixed-term contract, but there is a strong chance it becomes permanent.
    • If you like pace, variety and having a seat at the table, this is a very good opportunity.
