How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Measure and assess the value of work completed on-site, ensuring all AV installations, equipment deliveries, and commissioning milestones are accounted for.
    • Prepare and submit valuations, progress applications, and invoices in line with the project contract terms.
    • Produce accurate monthly cost reports and financial forecasts, tracking performance against project budgets.
    • Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.
    • Identify, notify, and track changes, variations, and compensation events as soon as they arise, in accordance with contract requirements.
    • Prepare estimates and quotations for additional works, ensuring maximum commercial return.
    • Assess and negotiate the value of changes to maintain profitability.
    • Maintain accurate cost records in collaboration with the Project Manager and Site Manager.
    • Manage and oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of the project, acting as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support the project accounting team with monthly performance and financial reporting.
    • Assist in negotiating and agreeing final accounts to ensure maximum value retention upon project completion.
    • Conduct regular site visits to ensure completed work is accurately measured and any new opportunities are identified.
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
    • Provide commercial insights to senior leadership, advising on potential improvements, strategies, and risk mitigation.
    • Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organisation, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.
