How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This leading specialist disputes practice is seeking an Associate to join its highly ranked Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud team in London. This is an opportunity that will place you at the forefront of disputes for clients all over the world. Currently the firm is representing clients in the UK, Asia-Pacific, Africa, Americas, Middle East, Russia/CIS and Europe.

    The Role


    Seeking a 1-4 PQE England & Wales qualified Solicitor, the successful candidate will join a top-tier disputes team that specialises in fraud (civil and criminal), commercial disputes, corporate investigations and complex cross-border litigation.


    You will gain exposure to significant, often headline matters, working alongside market-leading lawyers on cases where reputation, livelihood and liberty are at stake.

    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly regarded and growing practice with a strong international client base.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Advising clients on complex civil fraud, commercial litigation and business crime matters
    • Managing high-value disputes, often involving multi-jurisdictional elements
    • Assisting in corporate investigations, regulatory enquiries and cross-border issues (including extradition and mutual legal assistance)
    • Drafting, reviewing and managing court documents and pleadings
    • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development
    • Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on strategically important matters


    About You


    • Qualified solicitor (1–4 PQE) with strong experience in civil fraud, business crime, or commercial litigation
    • Strong academic background and training from a reputable disputes practice
    • Proven ability to manage complex cases with high attention to detail
    • Excellent advocacy skills
    • Motivated to develop your expertise in high-value, international disputes
