How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sports Coach - Liverpool

    Location: Liverpool
    Job Type: Full-Time | Term Time Only
    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    Are you an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coach looking to inspire the next generation?

    We are seeking a motivated Sports Coach to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about physical education, health, and wellbeing, and enjoys making a positive impact on young people's lives.

    Working across a range of year groups, you will deliver engaging sports sessions, promote healthy lifestyles, and support pupils both in PE lessons and throughout the wider school day.

    The Role

    As a Sports Coach, you will:

    Deliver high-quality PE lessons and sports activities.
    Support pupils of all abilities to participate, develop confidence, and enjoy physical activity.
    Lead lunchtime and after-school sports clubs.
    Assist teachers with classroom activities where required.
    Encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour.
    Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate.
    Help organise school sporting events, competitions, and enrichment activities.

    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who has:

    Experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting.
    A recognised coaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
    Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
    A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
    The ability to motivate and engage pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
    A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Experience working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs would be an advantage but is not essential.
