How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Build the Future of UK Energy

Hinkley Point C is one of Europe's largest and most complex infrastructure projects, delivering clean energy to around six million UK homes.

We're seeking experienced NDT Welding Inspectors / Field Engineers to join the Site Quality Surveillance Team. If you have a background in major infrastructure, power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, water, chemical or nuclear construction, this is an opportunity to apply your expertise on one of the UK's most significant engineering projects.

This is more than inspection-it's engineering assurance in a nuclear safety environment.

    The Role

You'll carry out quality surveillance across mechanical installation and fabrication activities, including:

    - Pipework

    - Pressure systems

    - Static and rotating equipment

    - Structural and mechanical assemblies

Working within the Site Quality Surveillance Team, you'll ensure construction activities comply with approved quality requirements, inspection plans and recognised industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities

Perform welding and NDT quality surveillance on site.

Verify contractor compliance with Quality Control Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Identify non-conformances and support NCR generation.

Review inspection records before work is covered.

Monitor welding, fabrication and installation activities.

Work closely with construction, QA/QC and contractor teams.

Promote proactive quality assurance and compliance.

    Essential Requirements

    CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (minimum)

    PCN-certified NDT qualification(s)

Proven welding inspection experience on major construction or industrial projects

Experience within nuclear, power, petrochemical, oil & gas or other highly regulated industries

Strong knowledge of RCC-M, ASME and BS EN standards

Experience with ITPs, NCRs, QA/QC documentation and quality surveillance

    Desirable

    CSWIP 3.2

    Multiple PCN qualifications

Nuclear new build or Hinkley Point C experience

    Pressure systems experience

    Knowledge of safety-critical fabrication environments

    Why Join?

Work on the UK's flagship clean energy project.

Long-term contract opportunity with competitive rates.

    Collaborate with industry-leading engineering professionals.

Gain experience on one of the world's most demanding construction programmes.

If you've worked on refineries, energy-from-waste facilities, pharmaceutical plants, water treatment works or petrochemical projects, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level.

Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
