How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer (3 On 3 Off)

    £41,000 - £46,000 (50K OTE) + Funded Training + Progression + Overtime

    Are you an Electrically biased maintenance engineer from a manufacturing background looking to join a business that will invest in your technical development through training on PLC's?

    Do you want great work/life balance, working a days, 6am - 6pm, 3 on 3 off shift pattern?

    On offer is the opportunity to join a growing company that manufactures 55 million units a year ready to be distributed to multiple big high-street names. This company has gone from strength to strength since they were founded in 2008 and are looking to add to their maintenance team due to an ever-increasing workload.

    In this role you will be fault-finding and carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on blow molding machines, packing machines and wrapping machines. This will be mostly electrical work, with some reactive mechanical maintenance when needed. Training can be given on PLC fault-finding, and additional support through qualifications.

    This role would suit a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for further training on modern manufacturing equipment and great work/life balance through a 3 on, 3 off days-based shift pattern.

    Carrying out electrical PPMs and Reactive Maintenance
    Training on Fault-Finding PLC's
    Extensive training with bespoke systems - modern equipment
