Pastoral Lead - HuddersfieldA brilliant and highly supportive secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Pastoral Lead to join their team on a long‑term basis through Hays Education. 🧭 The Role

Lead on pastoral care across a designated year group or key stage
Support students with behaviour, attendance, safeguarding concerns, and wellbeing needs
Work closely with senior leaders, heads of year, and external agencies
Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment🎓 Requirements

Recent experience (within the last 3 years) providing pastoral support in a UK high school
Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and attendance processes
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Ability to remain calm, consistent, and solution‑focused
A genuine commitment to improving student outcomes and wellbeing💼 Contract Details
