How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Injection Mould Production Operative
    Location: WA3
    Pay: £14.45 + overtime
    Shifts: 06:30-15:00 / 22:30-07:00/ 14:30-23:00 (rotating shifts)
    Days: Monday-Friday (overtime available)

    Job Summary
    We are seeking a motivated and Production Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong production experience in materials handling. This role involves working with various equipment to ensure efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. We are looking for people with motivated attitudes with a willingness to develop their skills further.

    Responsibilities

    * Operate and maintain injection moulding and fabrication equipment as part of the production team.

    * Assist with the production of medical components, ensuring accurate attention to detail and quality control.

    * Perform assembly tasks, ensuring components fit together correctly and meet specifications, carefully following SOPs.

    * Handle materials safely and efficiently within the production environment.

    * Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.

    * Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.

    Experience

    * Proven experience in a production field is preferred.

    * Previous experience with a pharmaceutical or medical background is beneficial.

    * Experience with quality control and a great attention to detail.

    * Ensure you have an accurate, up to date CV listing all previous work and references.

    * A willingness to learn and progress, with lots of overtime opportunities available on a regular basis.

    * The ability to work well within a team to assist the supportive production team.
