How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Forensic Planner to join a leading UK developer/contractor on a major mixed-use development in Central London.

Our client is seeking a commercially astute planning professional to provide specialist forensic planning support on two high-value construction claims. This is a project-focused assignment requiring a strong understanding of delay analysis, programme assessment and contractual entitlement.

This engagement offers a high degree of flexibility, with part-time working considered for the right individual, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced consultants managing multiple commissions.

    The Role

-Lead the forensic planning analysis for two significant construction claims.

-Review and interrogate project programmes, progress records and project documentation.

-Undertake delay and disruption analysis using recognised industry methodologies.

-Prepare programme evidence to support contractual claims.

-Work closely with the commercial and legal teams to develop robust claims strategies.

-Produce technical reports and supporting documentation.

-Attend project meetings in Central London and provide expert planning advice throughout the claims process.

    Requirements

-Proven experience as a Forensic Planner on major construction or infrastructure projects.

-Strong knowledge of delay analysis methodologies and construction claims.

    -Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.

-Excellent understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.

-Previous experience supporting adjudication, arbitration or dispute resolution is highly desirable.

-Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.

-Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior commercial and legal stakeholders.

    What's on Offer

    -Central London project.

    -Outside IR35 engagement.

-£500-£900 per day, depending on experience.

-Initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

-Part-time working considered for the right individual.

-Opportunity to support one of London's most prestigious mixed-use developments.

    -Immediate start available.
